The Minimalist Game

The challenge seems simple enough.

The Minimalist Game

I know I hold on to things if for no other reason than I'm too lazy to not hold on to things. Boxes in the basement could be compilations of things unpacked from moves (the most "recent" occurring in 2004). I am sure there is at least one box full of knickknacks that just had no other place to go -- bobbleheads of sports personalities no longer playing, a graduation tassel or two, a yarmulke from a friend's wedding.

I imagine choosing items will get very difficult. I have sentimental attachment to things which if you were to ask me what I had and where, I would find a difficult time answering. But today, I started very small.

Yes. A pair of socks. Not sure why they are so dirty. I have worn them at least through two washings despite realizing the hole in one. I wore them today and today was a bit of lucky day. But not lucky enough that I am attributing the outcome to the wearing of the socks. So out they go. Day one done.
